Visited the University of Maryland's makerspace(s) and Formula 1 SAE team, and woodshop and other. Universities such as this have opportunities for students and the local business community to collaborate on projects. They offer:
3D Printers (resin, powder metal, filament)
Laser Cutters
CNC Machines
Sewing
and other stuff.
You may have a makerspace near you, and if you are a local business this is a good source for people who create things. University of Maryland is one of the bigger makerspace environments I have seen, having access to a wide discipline from the student body.
