I was part of the BCCC 3D Printing expo via AON3D. I was part of the Expo session on 3D printing, and hope I helped some of the local students learn about 3D printing, what it can do, how it is used, and overall inspire a new generation to adopt rapid technology when sensible.
The show had ~9 companies represented and various technologies from Resin, Powder, Filament, and Powder Metals in addition to 3D scanning.
I will be working with BCCC closely next year to add a talk track throughout the show. Here is my pitch, Wifi is free, the booth is cheap, power is free. If you have ever hosted a booth at something like RAPID you may feel what I am saying. With that being said, my goal will be to make it the premier 3D Printing show on the east coast in 2025. Part of that will be finding speakers, while I am looking through my local network, please send me an email if you have an interesting topic and would be interested in speaking next year.
The video above is part of me on the panel, it is the first panel I have been on in 3 years, I have to admit a little nervous at first. I think I did a good job of being realistic, honest, and keeping brevity. You tell me good or bad.
