First things first.
Thank you to LJ for bringing this trade show to fruition. Thank you to Jim Snodgrass to doing alot of leg work.
Congratulations on Harrisburg being one of the most innovative Universities in the world
Congratulations to Harrisburg University for most students graduating without debt. I'm jealous.
My second time to J-DAMMIT and some good keynotes:
Phillips Federal - they talked about their projects with Norfolk Federal
Avi Reichental - He gave talked about his vision for American Manufacturing and had some interesting things to say about the innovation occurring.
The format was the same as last time, with breakout sessions with demos - this time broken out into 2 groups.
Some of the interesting things: Nexa3D to injection molding workflow, with a PEEK molded part. It could have used a draft angle
I saw a demo of Volumetric printing. Interesting Premise, still very much a project
Meltio + HAAS is nice
Tony Schmitz - I got to see Tony, someone who I took their course on machining
It was fun spin-kicking the CRAITOR machine
The outdoor metal repair demo using cold spray was a neat replacement for Welding without introducing heat.
Don't forget we got awesome Hawaiian shirts
