I've been to a lot of additive shows this year, not all but most. This one is the final for the year (i believe).
I love 3DPritopia and I come as a hobbyist moreso than a professional. It is a great place to get people excited about AM and to see some of the under the radar innovation happening in the polymer extrusion/vat polymerization world.
To quantify:
An open-source Resin printer, with a PLA Vat
A printer on 4 rails that moved the bed up to a 90 degree angle for part removal
A 4 independent gantry printer
I was at the show handing out Nano Polymer Adhesive – Vision Miner samples
An interesting epoxy bed with carved out channels for ceramic heating
3D Printed headphones on a DAC that sounded amazing
I bought two filaments
Carbon Fiber Reinforced PET | High Strength 3D Printing Filament - Siraya Tech - seems strong and prints well
This shows awesome, I don't know what else to tell you. GO TO IT.
